Our Take
We found this beer to have a bright fruity citrus flavor with a sweet malty and just slightly bitter hoppy finish. If you are used to the typical aggressive West Coast style of IPA’s then there’s a chance you’ll this find Torrey Pines IPA a bit on the weak side, that being said I think this would be a great beer for someone who wants to get into IPA’s but can’t yet really down something as hoppy (aka bitter) as an Arrogant Bastard. I found this beer to be quite drinkable and think it might appeal more to casual beer drinkers than to hardcore IPA fans. Rating 3.9/5
