Half and Half Pizza: the Marie Laveau and the Pizza of the Month, provided by DeanO’s
T: Ok…
A: so how was dinner tonight?
T: It was mighty fine.
A: yeah, DeanO’s makes a pretty out of this world pizza with a nice crispy crust and cajun toppings.
T: yeah, they really do make one of the better pizzas in town, in my opinion.
A: I completely agree. Baton Rouge is lacking in the pizza scene.
T: I don’t think I’ve seen quite the pizza scene that you’ve seen.
A: maybe that’s why I like pizza more than you!
T: could be. I do like pizza a whole lot. Don’t underestimate my love for pizza!
A: alright, alright! It’s not to say you don’t love pizza, but my passion runs deep.
T: I have passion… ok, I give it to you. You are more passionate about your pizzas than I am. I do quite like them, though.
A: anyway, as far as DeanO’s is concerned, for Baton Rouge it’s definately good pizza. I give the Marie Laveau a 7.4. It was good, I thoroughly enjoyed it, but I wouldn’t want to eat it everyday. The Pizza of the Month gets an 8.3 out of 10. I liked it a lot more. I thought the toppings worked well together as well as with the crust. How bout you?
T: That pizza was da bomb. I liked the Marie Laveau quite a bit… it could have dazzled more, though. I guess it needed more flavor. Maybe some salt would have done the trick. I give it an 8.0. It was good. The Pizza of the Month was tastier, I thought. More flavorful… perhaps more heartburn inducing as well.
A: yeah.
T: I give it a 9.0. It was a good meal.
A: definately.
T: They have pretty good beer prices, too.
A: for sure, the pitcher was $7.00 for anything on tap.
T: that includes Amber Bock, Abita Wheat, Bud light, and a couple of others we can’t remember.
